URGENT STATEMENT ABOUT UNOFFICIAL FUND RAISING IN BEDFORD

North West Cancer Research Fund has been made aware of 2 male youths collecting money in Bedford on behalf of the charity.� The boys, aged in their mid to late teens, are calling at people's homes and saying that they are undertaking a sponsored run to raise money.� They are asking for money there and then.� A local resident who gave them money, later became suspicious and reported the incident to the police.
North West Cancer Research Fund is not aware of anyone officially raising money on behalf of the charity in the area.�
