LAUNCH OF NEW BOARD GAME RAISES MONEY FOR CANCER RESEARCH

A new board game is being launched which will be the realization of its creator's long held ambition and raise money for Liverpool based charity, North West Cancer Research Fund.
The game, Cash Trap, has been created and designed by Debbie Keigan.� She started devising it when she was taking a break from work while she was pregnant.� It is being launched tonight at the Nags Head and Smithy Restaurant in Haughton Moss in Cheshire, which she runs with her husband, Rory.
At the launch, some of the games will be auctioned and a percentage of the bar takings will be donated to North West Cancer Research Fund.� The Fund, which has voluntary committees across the region, makes �750,000 available every year for fundamental research into the causes of cancer.� Virtually all of this money is raised through voluntary efforts and donations.� Throughout its 57 year history, an average of nearly 90p in every � raised has consistently been spent directly on research.� Two other charities are also benefiting: Children with Leukaemia and Hope House Children's Hospice.
Cash Trap is a game for between 2 - 4 players and is suitable for all ages and abilities.� The objective is for a player to move all of his or her money bags to the opposite side of the board whilst not allowing another player to do likewise.
